We went to Florida to visit family and had a blast. It was hot, muggy, buggy, and altogether delightful being surrounded by family we don't see nearly enough. Here are pictures that document some portions of our time there...
We had fun going for walks together and taking pictures. This is my Dad with his permanent appendage - his camera.
These girls are cousins of our boys. K and M are die hard dancers in the making and it shows in everything they do -
Us enjoying time together -

Because of the heat, we spent a lot of time at the neighborhood pool, which our boys enjoyed with enthusiasm, especially Lukas. He is a water fiend. The pool had a long and scary water slide with a four foot underwater plunge at the end, and Lukas could not get enough. He loved everything about the water.
K went to the aquarium with us and showed the boys how to touch the stingrays in the touch tank -
We also went to Clearwater Beach together, where Jeriah learned the joys of running away from waves and not running fast enough -
While we watched and stayed dry -
Everyone else played in the sand and water -
Grandma bought Jeriah a giant Bugs Bunny balloon from a street artist on Clearwater Beach. He really did like it, I promise. -
Thunderstorms greeted each night with spectacular lightning shows -
And then it was time to come home -

Well, THAT trip looked fun! :-)
They were both fun, in their own way. Family is always fun to go visit.
Looks like a ton of fun in the sun. How's Nate doing? I'd love to visit with you guys sometime. We don't live all that far from you guys.
