Yellowstone trip

I apologize right now for the massive amount of pictures I seem to have added to this post. But it was a three day trip and we had the camera with us the whole time, so I think I'll let the pictures just tell most of the story.
On the drive there... there's just something so adorable about sleeping babies -

Our campsite was basically next to the lake. It was beautiful -

Wild flowers in the field behind our tent -

We saw animals all over the place -

And people crowded the animals just to get a picture (*ahem* we would NEVER do that) -

Lukas fell in this river and had to go most of the day without his clothes -

We drove the bottom loop and saw some cool things -

Old Faithful during the rain -

This pic below is called the Grand Canyon. It was breathtaking, in more ways than one. Switchbacks down to the top of the falls, about a mile, and then you had to climb back up. Whew!

It rained on us and we had to move our tent to a different spot of ground for the second night of camping, but this greeted us after the rain passed -

The day we drove home, we went south to drive by the Tetons. This is a picnic area we stopped at for lunch, and I didn't want to leave. It was so beautiful -

The Tetons, with a rain storm, lightning and all -

And now we're home!

Wow, you sure saw some beautiful parts of the country. I've been to Yellowstone once, we didn't camp but after seeing your campsite I think we should have!

Thanks for bringing back so many fond memories. (You'd think by now *chuckle* you would know to carry a complete change of clothes for everybody... all the time!)
