Catching Up

How ya'll doin? It's been a while.

It's because I've been waiting on Lukas. He's learning to walk (finally!) and I'm trying to get video of him. I saw a video on a friend's blog where she put together clips of her daughter learning to crawl and you could see the crawling getting better and better. I wanted to do something like that, so I've been waiting for Lukas to get the hang of it. I think he's pretty much got it now, but whenever I get the camera out he plops right back down on the floor and crawls to me to see the camera. Crawling is still faster so he resorts to that when he really wants to get somewhere. So, stay tuned for the upcoming episode of Lukas learning to walk.

Jeriah turned three since we last talked. I've got pictures and video of that as well, but I haven't uploaded them yet, obviously. That is yet another episode in the saga that is our lives.

Ok, ok. I can't blame my lack of blogging totally on Lukas. What's really happening is I'm trying to get back to real life. I had strep throat a little over a week ago and Taylor turned into both mom and dad for about three days. He took care of everything and I laid around feeling terrible but still happy that I didn't have to think about what to make for dinner. (Just as a side note - be careful what you wish for. I had been wishing for a break, some time to myself and without responsibilities, for about three weeks prior to my bout with strep. Welp, I got my break.) Now I'm back in the world of mothers and wives with responsibilities galore.
